The Official 2008 Xtreme CERTOps North American Tour and Expo Is On!:

April 14th, in Washington DC, the launch of the most important tour event in the CERT Year will take place. Expositions, demonstrations, lectures and seminars, taught by CERT-SOU teams from around the world will be held as we meet to share our CERT-SOU experiences and develop CERT tactics to meet the threats present in our changing world.

The 2008 Xtreme CERTOps North American Tour and Expo features Senior Team Leader Joseph Garcia of US C-SOG, who is heading the cadre that will be teaching at this tour. We are going to bring our international CERT community together to develop, learn, train, and meet with each other. We are still adding events and fine-tuning, but already the agenda is filling with more than we can tell! This 2008 Xtreme CERTOps North American Tour and Expo will blow away last year’s conference; if you were there or heard about it, expect much more! You won’t be disappointed. The 2008 Xtreme CERTOps North American Tour and Expo is focused on directly addressing the growing global threat of High Risk inmates in our facilities, and we’ve scoured the globe looking for the latest tactics and trends and the “high speed” CERT/SOU Teams developing them.

At the 2008 Xtreme CERTOps North American Tour and Expo, invited guests will learn these tactics and techniques from national and international experts, and get hands-on, practical experience in these sensitive tactical issues affecting our correctional facilities today and in the future.
